This website and the waitlist
Updated August 28, 2026. This part covers athfuelpath.com — the website you are reading now, and the waitlist and coach-access forms on it. The numbered sections that follow cover the AthFuelPath app, which is not yet open to families. If you have only used this website, this part is the one that applies to you.

Your IP address reaches our server with the request, as it does with any website. We hold it in memory for about a minute to stop a script submitting the form hundreds of times, and it is not written to a database or attached to your entry. The form also contains a hidden field no person can see; anything typed into it is discarded, because only automated software fills it in.
What this website does not do
- It sets no cookies. None at all, including analytics and advertising cookies.
- It stores nothing in your browser — no local storage, no session storage.
- It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no third-party scripts of any kind.
- It does not create an account for you, and there is nothing to log in to.
- It does not follow you to other websites, and cannot.
We do not sell what you send us, share it for advertising, or add you to any list other than the one you asked to join.
Where your answers go
Your entry is emailed to AthFuelPath and read by Purvi Shah and Mayur Khera. It is also written to our server log at the moment you submit it, so that an answer is not lost if the email fails to send. Two companies handle it on the way: Fly.io, which hosts this website and holds those logs, and Google, which delivers the email. Nobody else receives it. There is no marketing platform, no advertising network and no data broker in this path.
Your athlete's first name and age
These two fields are optional and are filled in by you, the parent or guardian, not by your child. We ask for a first name only. We do not collect a surname, a date of birth, an email address, a photograph or any contact detail for your athlete, and we never contact them — every reply goes to the adult who filled in the form. If you would rather not give us your athlete's name at all, leave both fields blank; it changes nothing about your place on the waitlist.
This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 through it. Where a parent chooses to tell us a younger athlete's first name and age band, we hold it on that parent's instruction and delete it on request.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist and coach entries are kept until AthFuelPath opens and we have written to you about it, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
- Server logs, which contain the same entry, are kept for as long as our host retains them and are not used for anything else.
- Joining the waitlist does not create an account, so there is nothing else being kept about you.
Changing your mind
Email support@athfuelpath.com and ask to be removed. We will delete your entry and confirm that we have. You do not have to give a reason, and you can ask us at any time what we hold about you — it will be the fields listed in the table above and nothing more.
The AthFuelPath app
The numbered sections below describe the AthFuelPath app, which is not yet open to families. They apply once you have an account, and nothing in them happens as a result of joining the waitlist. They are unchanged since July 2, 2026 and are the same text the app itself shows.
This policy explains what information AthFuelPath collects, why, how it is used and protected, and the choices you have. It is written to be readable.
1. Children's Privacy and COPPA Compliance
AthFuelPath is directed to youth athletes ages 13–17 and is operated by parents or guardians on their behalf. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. All accounts are created and controlled by a parent or legal guardian (18+), who provides consent on behalf of their child at the time of account creation. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13 without proper consent, we will promptly delete it. To request deletion, contact us at support@athfuelpath.com.
We practice data minimization — we collect only what is necessary to provide educational nutrition guidance. We do not use children's information for behavioral advertising and we do not sell personal information.

3. Push Notifications
With your permission, AthFuelPath sends push notifications to remind athletes and parents about upcoming fuel windows and game-day preparation. You can manage or disable notifications at any time in your device's Settings or within the AthFuelPath app under Settings → Notifications. We do not send marketing or advertising notifications.
4. How We Use Information
- To generate personalized educational nutrition guidance and reminders.
- To produce progress views for the athlete and reports for the parent.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
- To respond to support requests and problem reports.
We do not use children's information for behavioral advertising or sell it to any third party.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers that help AthFuelPath function (for example, nutrition database providers, weather providers, AI services, cloud infrastructure, and push notification delivery), under agreements that limit their use of the data to providing services to us. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users. We do not sell personal information.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service.
- Meal confirmation logs are kept on a rolling 90-day basis.
- A parent may request review or deletion of their family's data at any time by emailing support@athfuelpath.com; we will act on deletion requests within 30 days.
- You may also request account deletion directly in the app under Settings → Delete Account.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information and restrict access to athlete data. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Parents can review, update, or delete their family's information at any time. You can opt out of push notifications in app settings. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@athfuelpath.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of AthFuelPath after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
